Max Verstappen finally has a Singapore Grand Prix win. On his tenth try at Marina Bay, the Red Bull driver turned Saturday's pole into victory over 62 laps. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc finished second and championship leader Kimi Antonelli took third for Mercedes.

It completes a clean sweep of the first sprint weekend in Singapore. Verstappen won Saturday's rain-delayed sprint, then took the 50th pole of his career, and the race came in his 250th Grand Prix weekend. He had finished second here three times, in 2018, 2024 and 2025, without ever winning.

The result is his second win of 2026, a week after he won in Sepang, and his 73rd overall. It lifts him to fourth in the drivers' standings on 221 points. With six rounds left, Antonelli still leads teammate George Russell comfortably, with Lewis Hamilton third.

Pole has now won the night race 12 times in 17 editions, and four years running since 2023. Verstappen is also the seventh different winner in the last seven Singapore races. Fireworks over the finish briefly lit a skyline that had been under haze all week.
